THE EVENT: Apple Day at Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery
Godmanchester’s free community event of the year! Join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly day celebrating all things apple at our much-loved Apple Day! A few of our members volunteer at this event and they kindly put me in touch to come and sing there. The event attracts a few thousand people across the day. There is live music from us and another band. It should be a lovely autumnal day in a gorgeous setting.
DATE: Saturday 10th October
CALL TIME: Anytime from 12:00pm but there won’t be a line up as they’d like a flashmob opening
 PERFORMANCE STARTS: Dead on 12:30pm
PERFORMANCE DETAILS: Set 1 from 12:30pm-1:00pm / Set 2 from 1:30pm-2:00pm
SONGS: We will open with Take On Me as a flashmob and then follow on with these 9 songs:
Everywhere, Got To Get You Into My Life, Ironic, Killing Me Softly, Kings Of Pop Medley, Man I Need, Movin’ On Up, We Are Family and You’ve Got A Friend.

Parking is very limited – please walk, cycle, or take public transport if possible. The X3 and 66 buses stop at The Avenue, just a 5-minute walk from the Nursery. If you must drive, additional parking is available at:

UNIFORM: The Collaboration Choir uniform colour palette is: Navy, Teal & White
CLOTHING: If you have a Collaboration Choir T-shirt please wear it with dark navy jeans or dark navy trousers. No leggings please. If you don’t then a white, navy or teal top of any kind is okay. White shirts are also fine! These can be in dark navy denim, plain navy or white. No black bottoms please.
FOOTWEAR: Please wear plain navy shoes. Navy, white or silver trainers are also welcomed with matching plain socks. Feel free to wear sparkly trainers. Think comfortable chic!
JEWELLERY & EXTRAS: Silver jewellery preferred — sparkle if you like! This is an outdoor event without any holding or backstage area so please only bring what you can carry on your person. A bum bag or across the body bag is recommended. And as we are opening with a flashmob beginning, as you wander around the nursery between 12:00pm-12:30pm can you try and cover up your t-shirt? The moment of ‘reveal’ will be at the start of Chorus 1 when Middles and Lowers sing: “Take on me…”
