Weekly Choir Sessions
The Collaboration Choir Ltd meets to rehearse for at least 30 weeks of the year with extra sessions, events and performances throughout the year on top of that schedule. The sessions are scheduled in accordance with our termly calendar and dates can be found in the FAQ section of our website, within member app or emailed directly to you on request.
A member chooses their ‘home’ choir location and payment details and membership gets linked to that choir.
Due to health & safety, safeguarding and insurance we are unable to allow any children (under 18) to be at our rehearsals and this includes waiting in the same building during rehearsals.
The Music
All song arrangements, lyric sheets, any staging or movement and branding are the intellectual property of The Collaboration Choir Ltd.
Our Fee Structure
The Collaboration Choir Ltd membership is payable yearly or monthly via the Stripe subscription service. Membership is £300 per year spread over 12 months equating to £25 per month from the date you set up your subscription. The Collaboration Choir does not have access to your bank details or handle your direct debit payment. This is done through Stripe (www.stripe.com) who are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Collaboration Choir Ltd membership gives you full access to the Collab Lounge and our bespoke TCC App where learning resources including lyric sheets, mp3’s of the harmony parts and any video tutorials required – all are accessible online.
If your payment fails due to your card expiring or there not being sufficient funds in the account then we will contact you for that month’s payment via another method.
Absence
We don’t offer refunds or carry-overs for non-attendance. Should The Collaboration Choir Ltd’s scheduled rehearsals be cancelled for any reason, an extra rehearsal will be provided. Members can also attend choir in one of our other towns at any time without charge and without limit.
Cancelling your Membership
Annual membership plans are non-refundable.
If you’re on a monthly membership plan you can cancel it at any time. There is a 28 day notice period from the date of cancellation.
To do this go to the ‘My Account’ page of the website and click ‘Cancel’. A form will pop up asking you which membership level you’d like to cancel. Select the choir you sing with, the monthly or yearly option you originally selected and your reason for cancelling. Click ‘Submit’ so your form can be sent through to TCC.
Your membership will cease 28 days later with one final payment of £25 being taken.
Events and Performances
Choir members do not pay to perform although it may be necessary to charge for transport, props, costume, and/or extra rehearsals for performances. All performances and events are optional.
Uniform
The Collaboration Choir Ltd produces it’s current merchandise in collaboration with Ambition Sport (www.ambitionsport.com) and is made up of:
T-shirts, Hoodies & Bumbags
These are required for events and performances, should be worn with navy trousers or dark denim bottoms and can be purchased online via The Collaboration Choir Ltd website or inside the CC App. We welcome individuality and comfort so feel free to choose your own Navy, White or Silver (sparkly) trainers to accompany the above. If you require any more info please speak to your Choir Director or refer to our FAQ’s.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of members of The Collaboration Choir Ltd is paramount. While we do carry full insurance and each venue and event is risk assessed, it is the responsibility of every member to act responsibly and not risk the health and safety of themselves and others.
It is the responsibility of members to make The Collaboration Choir Ltd aware of any relevant health issues they may have that may hinder their performance at rehearsals and events.
The Collaboration Choir Ltd is not responsible for loss or damage of the personal effects of members during rehearsals, performances or social events.
Members are responsible for their own property and wellbeing whilst attending rehearsals and performances
It is advised that members wear comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear to rehearsals and bring water to stay hydrated.
Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding
The Collaboration Choir Ltd embraces equality, diversity and inclusivity of its members and every endeavour is made to accommodate those with health issues or mobility problems. Please make your The Collaboration Choir Ltd Choir Leader aware of any issues that may hinder full participation in rehearsals or performances.
Code of Conduct
The Collaboration Choir Ltd aims to create a safe and positive environment for all and therefore we operate as professionally as possible in our code of conduct and expect the following:
- Punctual attendance to rehearsals & performances
- The wearing of appropriate uniform when requested by the Choir Leader for public engagements
- Members should respect all fellow members, their Choir Leader and any other staff engaged by The Collaboration Choir Ltd
- Negative behaviour, whether written or verbal, towards the Company, other Choir Members, the Choir Leaders, Staff, Choir Volunteers or Members of the Public will lead to that Member being asked to leave the choir. No refund of membership will be given under these circumstances.
- The Collaboration Choir Ltd cannot be held financially responsible for injury or damage caused by a member’s misconduct or inappropriate behaviour.
Social Media & Marketing
The Collaboration Choir Ltd administrators reserve the right to remove any inappropriate remarks, comments, photographs and videos that may compromise its intellectual property and the feelings and privacy of its members. We reserve the right to block a member from any social media platform without warning if inappropriate remarks are made.
In turn, The Collaboration Choir Ltd will not post any footage that may cause offence or embarrassment to any of its members. Upon joining it is agreed that photographic, video, images and sound are used for advertising and marketing purposes in relation to The Collaboration Choir Ltd.
Data Protection
The Collaboration Choir Ltd respects the information we hold on you and that we take the security of your information very seriously in accordance with GDPR. We have a Privacy Policy which gives you more information on the data we hold on you, what we do with that data, who we share your data with and your rights under GDPR. A direct copy of The Collaboration Choir Ltd’s Privacy Policy is available on request but it can be found at our website.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to amend The Collaboration Choir Ltd’s calendar and/or the price of the membership. We will give members 1 full month’s notice of any adjustments.
