EVENT: A Dress Rehearsal for Carrie’s choirs in Northstowe

You’re invited to join Carrie for a Dress Rehearsal at Northstowe Secondary College on Tuesday 14th July, bringing together singers from our Cambridge, Huntingdon and St Neots choirs as we prepare for the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival.

This session is all about getting performance-ready. We’ll be running our full 15-song setlist, working through the flow of the show from start to finish so everyone has a clear understanding of how the performance unfolds on the day.

We’ll also be focusing on the details that make a big difference on stage — perfecting entrances and exits, tightening transitions between songs, and building confidence in how the set moves as a complete performance rather than individual pieces.

Alongside the music, we’ll walk through the structure of the day itself, so you know exactly what to expect from arrival through to performance, including how the show is staged and how everything fits together as a shared choir experience.

This is a key opportunity to bring everything together, settle nerves, and make sure we’re all aligned ahead of the festival — so when we step on stage, we can focus on performing with confidence, energy, and connection.

I’d love you to be there as we shape the set into a polished, unified performance ready for the Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival Showcase later the same week.
